About Me
Extensive and personal experience with adoption has allowed for me to possess a clear understanding of the array of issues that can manifest. Use of clinical skills, professionalism, empathy, and humor has resulted in goal-oriented outcomes. Working in the mental health field for over 8 years has provided the ability and opportunity to continuously grow as a professional.
Prior to full-time private practice work, I've worked in outpatient clinics and hospital settings. In addition, clinical work has been done at the Elementary, Middle, and High school level in collaboration with parents and staff such as the School Adjustment Counselor(s), School Guidance Counselor(s), School Nurse, Special Education Team, and Principal. Being a 2013 graduate from Salem State University's Counseling & Psychological Services graduate program aided in developing the foundation of my therapeutic approach. I've been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts since May 2017. I'm also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut since May 2023. |
