About Me
Being a 2013 graduate from Salem State University's Counseling & Psychological Services Graduate program aided in developing the foundation of my therapeutic approach. It highlighted the importance of empathy and clinical judgment in treatment.
Prior to full-time private practice work, I've worked in outpatient clinics and hospital settings. In addition, clinical work has been done at the Elementary, Middle, and High school level in collaboration with parents and staff such as the School Adjustment Counselor(s), School Guidance Counselor(s), School Nurse, Special Education Team, and Principal. Extensive and personal experience with adoption has allowed for me to possess a clear understanding of the array of issues that can manifest. Use of clinical skills, professionalism, empathy, and humor has resulted in goal-oriented outcomes. Working in the mental health field for over 8 years has provided the ability and opportunity to continuously grow as a professional. My licensure is as follows: -Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts since May 2017 -Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut since May 2023 -Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) In Vermont since July 2023 -Clinical Professional Counselor (CPC) in Maine since August 2023 |
